Mr Meticulous cleans up with Mercedes-Benz Citan

Jason recalled: “I approached Ciceley Commercials at Blackburn when I launched my new business because I was keen to acquire a vehicle that would reflect the premium quality of my service. When it comes to brand image, Mercedes-Benz is in a league of its own.

Jason earned the Mr Meticulous moniker as a boy, because of his obsession with neatness and tidiness. It has remained with him into adulthood, and manifests itself in all sorts of ways, from his alphabetically organised DVD collection to his colour-coded shirt storage.

“I suppose I am a bit OCD,” he laughed, “but my insistence on ensuring that everything is just right does mean that customers can rely on us to clean their homes and business premises to the very highest standards. Professionalism, reliability and affordability are the pillars on which I want to grow my company – we promise to turn up on time, every time, and I’ve confidence that with my smart new Citan, that’s exactly what we’ll do.”

Jason uses his van to carry a vacuum cleaner, mops, brushes, buckets, cleaning products and other paraphernalia associated with his business. He also has a sideline, working at nights and weekends as a mobile DJ – again, the Citan has a key role to play. “Space in the back of the van isn’t an issue as far as the cleaning side of my job is concerned,” continued Jason. “But when I’m DJ’ing I have to carry a lot more equipment, including lighting, speakers and other items, some of which are quite long.

“I chose this particular Citan because it’s a special edition Trade specification model, which means it incorporates a few extra features. One of these allows me to fold the front seat flat and split the mesh bulkhead so I can slide in a larger piece of kit. Everything fits snugly and there’s nothing swimming about, so it’s perfect.”

Jason acquired his van with competitive funding support from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. He added: “Ciceley Commercials’ Van Sales Executive Graham Beckett is a nice guy and could not have been more helpful. I told him my budget and he handled the entire process, including the administration relating to fitment of my personalised registration plates, quickly and efficiently. His customer service was brilliant and the vehicle was immaculately presented.”
