Derekโs last working day will be this Friday 5 September 2025, bringing to a close a remarkable career. He first joined the Carlisle site, formerly known as CD Bramhall, on 26 August 1980 โ before many of us were even born! Carlisle later became part of the Ciceley group in 1998, and Derek has been a constant presence ever since.

Over the decades, heโs witnessed huge changes in the industry โ from parts catalogues and handwritten orders to todayโs digital systems โ and has remained a steady, reliable figure throughout.
Derek is also one of the longest-serving Parts Managers in our network, and his expertise, commitment, and support for colleagues and customers have left a lasting impact on the whole business.
