Ciceley Commercials was delighted to join the celebrations for Bardsleys’ 60th anniversary, marking six decades since David Bardsley first founded the family-run garage and recovery business in Atherton.

The event was a real celebration of community and legacy, with professional photography capturing the day, a pizza van serving up fresh slices, a DJ keeping the atmosphere lively, and a charity raffle to round things off. We were pleased to contribute by donating a Ciceley jacket for the raffle.

It’s been our pleasure to work with Bardsleys recently, most notably handing over two new Mercedes-Benz Citan vans to support their operations. Seeing these vehicles on display among the anniversary celebrations was a proud moment for both our teams.

The Bardsleys family put on a fantastic day, with lots of displays set up to showcase their history, growth, and commitment to service – looking nothing short of amazing.

From their beginnings in 1964 under David Bardsley’s vision to the thriving business they are today, Bardsleys continues to stand as a trusted name in garage services and vehicle recovery. We’re proud to celebrate alongside them and look forward to seeing their next chapter unfold.

The first 3 of 60 Mercedes-Benz Actros ProCabin StreamSpace 2553 6x2 tag axle trucks were handed over yesterday to @envirocleanscot by our Truck Sales Executive, Diane Boag.

Finished in Enviroclean’s eye-catching livery, these trucks won’t just deliver outstanding performance and efficiency — they’ll certainly stand out on the road too.

A major fleet upgrade and a huge milestone in what will be a 60-truck rollout. We’re proud to support Enviroclean with this exciting order and can’t wait to see the full fleet completed.

A fantastic handover yesterday by Richard Bergin to @hopsandbarleyuk 👏

These two 7.5t FUSO Canter 7C15 Duonic vehicles, fitted with 4m curtainside bodies and tail lifts are ready to get straight to work.

Finished in bold, eye-catching green and pink liveries, these trucks perfectly reflect the vibrant Hops and Barley brand and certainly won’t be missed on the road.

These vehicles will be out delivering kegs, casks and supplies to pubs, bars and venues across the region, playing a key part in keeping drinks flowing where they’re needed most. 🍻

Designed for demanding airside operations, these electric vehicles are helping to cut emissions, improve efficiency and keep vital ground operations moving 24/7.

From specification and conversion through to delivery, livery and ongoing support, we worked closely with Swissport and Mercedes-Benz Vans UK to bring this complex fleet project to life.

A great example of how strong partnerships turn sustainability goals into practical, day-to-day operations.

We’re excited to have handed over three brand-new Mercedes-Benz Vito vans to @brokkuk — specialists in remote-controlled demolition robots and intelligent demolition solutions. 👏

These vehicles will be used by their service engineers, supporting customers across the UK. The handover was completed by Rob Claringbold, Fleet Van Sales Manager.

Brokk has been pioneering demolition robotics for over 50 years, developing powerful, compact machines used across construction, industry and infrastructure projects worldwide.
