Strong BTCC Debut for Cataclean Plato Racing at Donington Park

Ciceley Commercials are proud sponsors of , who enjoyed an impressive debut weekend in the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park.

The newly formed team made history during the opening round of the season as Daniel Rowbottom secured victory in the BTCC’s first-ever Qualifying Race, while teammate Adam Morgan delivered three strong top ten finishes across the weekend.

Both Mercedes-AMG A35 Saloons showed excellent pace throughout qualifying and race day, with the team quickly establishing themselves as genuine contenders in the championship despite only launching six months ago.

The weekend also highlighted the resilience and determination within the team, with mechanics completing a rapid engine change ahead of the final race to ensure both cars returned to the grid.

For Ciceley, the partnership carries extra pride as Adam Morgan represents the third generation of the family involved within the business and motorsport alike.

Reflecting on the weekend, Adam Morgan commented:

“We’ve shown flashes of what the car is capable of and that’s really exciting. We’ve got a nice break now before Brands Hatch so we’ll unpack all the data we’ve collected and work towards making the package even more competitive.”

We’re looking forward to supporting the team as the championship continues at Brands Hatch on 9–10 May.

What a fantastic day at our Ciceley golf day at @boltonoldlinksgolf ⛳

The weather may have tested us with a wet start, but once the skies cleared it turned into a brilliant day of golf, great company, and friendly competition.

We`re also delighted to have raised £535 for @eastlancshospice – a cause that means so much to our team and local community. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the day such a success.
