Mercedes-Benz Truck Sales Manager (North)

Due to the growth of the truck sales business at Ciceley Commercials Ltd and our exciting new truck dealership opening at Eurocentral in Scotland, we are looking for an experienced and driven Truck Sales Manager to help launch our new site, lead and grow our commercial vehicle sales operation in the north of England and Scotland. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, developing high-performing sales teams at our Carlisle and Eurocentral dealerships, and driving sustainable growth in a fast-paced and competitive market.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Daily management of the new & used truck sales teams based at Carlisle and Eurocentral, plus one support exec/driver trainer
• Conducting daily and weekly site sales meetings with new and used sales team
• Agreeing sales targets with the Sales Director
• Assisting the sales team in achieving targets
• Taking part in customer meetings where required to help secure orders
• Planning, organising, directing, coaching and motivating the sales team
• Supervising conclusion of deals
• Providing advice and support to sales staff on deals
• Supervising all processes up to and following delivery
• Compiling reports for the Sales Director as required
• Ensuring Ciceley up-sell opportunities are always a key focus
• Monitor CRM usage ensuring all required details are gathered and entered correctly and efficiently
• Liaising with Sales Support team ensure vehicle orders and WIP remain accurate
• Remaining proactive with ageing stock
• Ensuring truck display is up to date and advertised prices are correct
• Selling responsibility plus account management, with corresponding vehicle unit sales target, to selected fleet customers
• Provide cover for the Truck Sales Manager (South) where required

Essential criteria:

• Previous sales management experience
• Truck sales industry knowledge and experience
• Ability to lead and motivate both new and experienced sales executives

Desirable criteria:

• Previous Mercedes-Benz experience
• Previous experience of Autoline system
• HGV driving licence
