This week the Ciceley Commercials Ltd Bolton Service Team handed over a brand-new TV and a fridge to Bolton’s Wipe Your Tears Charity.
Wipe your tears are a children’s charity based in Bolton, who help seriously and terminally ill children and their families. They also support victims of domestic violence situations and underprivileged families in the local area.
Service Manager Paul Lomax, who liaised with the charity had this to say; ‘It’s amazing to be able to help such a wonderful charity, especially at this time of year when many families are struggling. Hopefully, this donation can bring a bit of joy to some families this Christmastime.’
Wipe Your Tears Charity was set up in 2004 following a television show about the plight of unwell children in the UK and the effects that serious illness has on their loved ones. Since then, Wipe Your Tears has helped over 5,000 children and families across the area. From helping families purchase specialised equipment to enhance their way of life, to simply being there for ill children and their families with care packages, this charity makes a difference to so many.
