The smallest and largest Mercedes-Benz vans have been honoured in this years’ Trade Van Driver Awards for Best Small Trades Van and Editor’s Choice respectively.
Commenting on the Best Small Trades Van accolade for Citan, Matthew Eisenegger, Editor of Trade Van Driver, said: “With mileages increasing for the professional tradesperson, a greater burden is being placed on the vehicles. Also, greater consideration is being given to warranty periods and cover. In the judges’ opinion the Mercedes-Benz Citan, which is supplied with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, offers the ideal solution to the professional trades who are covering greater distances.”
The Trade Van Driver Awards are judged by a panel of readers who use light commercial vehicles as part of their business, alongside an expert panel of journalists.
The Sprinter has been honoured by the Trade Van Driver Awards every year since the Awards were established in 2011, helping to secure the Editor’s Choice accolade this year: “Yet again the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a winner, both on build quality and the exceptional warranty, which make it a firm favourite,” explained Matthew.
