On June 9th, Colin Briggs is hanging up his briefcase as CEO after 36 years working with the company.
Colin started at Ciceley Commercials Ltd in 1986 as the Aftersales Manager and worked his way up through the business, becoming CEO in 2002. After an incredible 36 years, Colin has decided to retire to spend more quality time with his wife and family.
“The decision to retire has been an incredibly difficult one. I have thoroughly enjoyed my life with Ciceley, being involved in the growth and development of the team and the business, to see all that we have achieved and the successful business that we are, makes me immensely proud.
“I have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic people and the support I have received over the years, not just from the Ciceley team but the Morgan family is second to none. I am delighted to have been asked to remain on the board as a non-executive Director so that I can still be involved in a few projects and continue to see the business develop. Now is the time for me to step down from my CEO position but I leave the business in the very capable hands of Simon Wilson”
Simon Wilson, who has been working alongside Colin as our Finance Director since 2005, will be stepping into the CEO role from Friday 10th June.
