Assistant Parts Manager

As we continue to invest in our new Eurocentral site, we are excited to be recruiting an Assistant Parts Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy parts department, ensuring the timely supply of parts to both internal and external customers while maintaining the highest standards of service. The successful candidate will help drive departmental performance, support and develop team members, optimise stock management, and contribute to the continued success of one of our newest and most exciting locations.

This role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.  This role is directly involved in supporting the Aftersales Manager in day-to-day running of the Parts department, serving general public & trade customers, and the supply of our own workshop.

The ideal candidate would:

• Possess commercial awareness and can understand the ‘bigger picture’ when applying a decision
• Possess strong interpersonal and mediation skills to communicate calmly and effectively
• Be able to analyse data, identify issues, and develop practical solutions to service challenges

• Managing inventory
• Receiving and picking of orders
• Carrying out daily/weekly stock checking
• Ensuring parts store is kept tidy and organised
• Assisting with pre-picking of parts for the workshop
• Assisting and supervising other team members
• Planning efficient van delivery routes through use of company resource
• Supervision of van delivery drivers
• Driving sales to meet targets
• Developing and motivating the Parts team through use of KPI’s
• Ensuring excellent customer service to both retail and trade customers
• Assisting the Aftersales Manager with daily operations
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations.

• Practical experience in an After Sales environment
• Basic computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a ‘can do’ positive attitude to challenges with the capability of bringing forward potential solutions
• Demonstrate leadership skills through effective delegation whilst developing a ‘thinking team spirit’
• Numerate
