We are recruiting a Customer Database Administrator to join our busy Marketing team at Head Office.

The Customer Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining and cleansing our sales and service customer database, ensuring all records are kept up to date and all required information is recorded by all members of staff in a timely manner.

The role will include compiling reports, analysing data, updating customer records, training staff and coordinating incoming enquiries.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, ensuring the customer database is kept up to date with the customer journey accurately recorded and with the Sales Managers providing key reports to analyse sales opportunities and activity levels.

The ideal candidate will have experience of CRM administration and preferably experience of working in a similar environment.

We are looking for an individual who is exceptionally organised and methodical with the ability to analyse complex data and communicate requirements to staff members whilst adhering to Ciceley and Mercedes-Benz departmental practices and procedures along with national GDPR standards.

Main responsibilities

  • Maintaining CRM database to minimum data quality requirements
  • Running daily data quality reports
  • Cleansing data on a regular basis
  • Editing and updating customer records
  • Running daily reports on customer and staff activity
  • Assisting the sales team with updating CRM as required
  • Conducting database reviews with each sales exec
  • Running adhoc reports as required for marketing activity and sales analysis
  • Coordinating all incoming enquiries, allocating to the relevant member of the sales team and monitoring through to conclusion
  • Conducting CRM training with all new members of staff and existing members of staff on new processes
  • Working closely with the customer contact team, running reports and updating customer records.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous CRM administration experience

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous Motor Industry experience
  • Previous Mercedes-Benz experience
