Active Brake Assist can help prevent or minimise accidents with vehicles or pedestrians, increasing safety for you and other road users. Thanks to its radar and camera safety system, it warns you visually and audibly, then automatically brakes to avoid or reduce the severity of a collision.
After an early start, a hard day’s work or any long journey, ATTENTION ASSIST can visually and audibly warn you of drowsiness, for added peace of mind and driving safety. Working between 60 and 200 km/h, it can be set to a sensitivity level or can be switched off entirely.
On journeys with frequently changing speed limits, Traffic Sign Assist can help you stay within the legal speeds or let you know when they come to an end. Additionally, it can warn you about no access or no overtaking signs. All through clear visual and audible alerts.
To help avoid accidents when changing lanes or reversing out of a parking space, Blind Spot Assist (optional extra) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert monitors the sides and behind the Citan panel van. And when a vehicle is detected, it creates a visual and audible warning.
Inattentiveness and fatigue can lead to drifting out of your lane. That’s when Active Lane Keeping Assist (optional extra) can help by detecting if continuous road markings are being driven through. It then immediately warns you through steering wheel vibration. If you don’t react, it can help to return your Citan to the correct lane.
Whether you’re parking in a crowded car park or busy street, Active Parking Assist (optional extra) uses sensors to steer your car for you, helping you parallel park. It can even help you exit a space once you’re ready to leave.
