In-Truck Connect App
The In-Truck Connect app is an exciting new technology that has been created through a bp and Daimler Truck partnership. This new technology launched in June 2023, provides customers with an app in the Mercedes-Benz Truck app portal and on the multimedia cockpit in the vehicle.
With bp In-Truck Connect, the truck and the pump communicate with each other and drivers can refuel their truck without a fuel card. Drivers do not need to queue to pay, payments are automatically authorised upon completion of fuelling. It provides quicker refuelling and also provides more accurate reporting, odometer readings can be taken from the truck without the need for drivers reporting them.
Once the driver has refuelled, the In-Truck Connect app seamlessly sends data to the In-Truck Connect Fleet Manager Portal. The Fleet Manager can then see when and where a vehicle was refuelled and how much fuel was dispensed. You can also view odometer readings to track mileage and monitor fuel levels.
Using the bp In-Truck Connect app is easy. Drivers follow just three simple steps.
That's it. There’s no need to enter the shop. No need to present a physical card. No need to remember and report odometer readings. The driver can simply carry on with their journey, knowing their refuelling has been recorded securely and accurately.
