At Ciceley Commercials Ltd, we have been working hard to ensure we operate within the government guidelines. Many of our customers are providing a pivotal service to the public and we are doing everything possible to support these key businesses, whilst protecting the health of both staff and customers.
We have remained open throughout each lockdown, fully supporting our customers with their service, parts and sales needs and we have achieved this by working as safely as possible.
We have implemented a number of changes around the business to help protect our staff and our customers. Below you will find an update for each area of the business along with key contact details in case you need them.
We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued cooperation in adhering to the safety procedures we have in place.
Service
Our workshops remain open and functioning as normally as possible. In line with government advice we are testing all staff members twice a week. This is to ensure any potential Covid-19 cases are identified early, prior to symptoms developing. Like most businesses that remain open, we have experienced a few staff shortages with Covid-19 cases and track and trace resulting in staff needing to isolate. Even with these issues, between our sites we have had no significant problems with availability, and we are proud to still be accommodating all customers’ needs. However, due to an increase in demand you may be asked to book a little further in advance than normal.
Any vehicle that has been into the workshop will have all contact areas cleansed before customer collection.
During the very first lockdown we invested heavily in Perspex screens which have been professionally fitted to all Service reception desks. This allows us to communicate safely with customers and maintain all social distancing measures when dropping off and collecting vehicles. We are doing everything we can to continue operating as normally as possible, whilst keeping everyone safe.
There has been no change to our 24hr Roadside Assistance service. We are still providing a 24-hour, 365 day service with an average attendance time of currently just 45 minutes and a Roadside Fix Rate of 90%. Our 24hr technicians are wearing clean gloves for every job, maintaining a 2m distance from drivers and wiping down the key touch points of the vehicle before customers get on their way.

Our Parts departments, like Service, remain open with Perspex screens installed, social distancing practices in place and testing twice weekly. We are very lucky that we are already industry leading in terms of supply availability. At Ciceley Commercials Ltd, we have always held more stock on site than most other dealers so we are confident that we can continue to provide a prompt delivery of parts for a considerable time. If you have any part requirements for your business, we are confident that the current pandemic will have no impact on us meeting your expectations.

Our showrooms are open and safely welcoming visitors. We have Perspex screens in place and we are testing of all staff twice a week. We are doing everything possible to make our showrooms a safe environment for you to visit.
If you require a new or used vehicle and still do not want to visit us on site, we can still fully support you in your purchase remotely. For many years we have been supplying new and used vehicles to customers all over the UK as we are able to complete deals remotely and where required use video technology to communicate and demonstrate a vehicle. We have a team of professional delivery drivers who have been working incredibly hard, making sure customers receive their vehicles quickly and safely.
As you would expect, we continue to have a good range of new and used vans in stock and can provide a quick turnaround. We have recently supplied vans to the NHS, MoD, parcel companies, local milk delivery companies, bakers, as well as well-known high street names for their home delivery fleets.
